All I Needed To Learn Was At The Toilet Bowl!

A terrible thing happened on July 24th,
The clip in my hair, she headed north.
I couldn’t find it that lovely morn,
But the sound of that toilet! In form?

I knew, I just knew what it would be,
Where north had become don’t you see?
Well some wisdom then I had to seek
Several people to whom I did speak.

They said “call a plumber, and here’s the number”
They said “women like you couldn’t be any dumber!”
But I knew I could do it so I called my mentor,
My brother just said “go to the store”!

So I went to the store, several times it became
A place where I went, just to aim!
I bought my supplies after asking some guy
A question or two to help me get by.

I fixed it all right, but it still leaked a might,
I stopped using it again, all through the night!
I procrastinated lots, I avoided the work,
I couldn’t proceed till found the big smirk.

It serves us well to eat the frog first!
Because it then saves us from having to burst.
It so much the better than having to curse,
And having to call on the helpful great nurse.

I learned that the frog, tho’ ugly it be,
Really needs to be eaten, That’s for sure!
Because it becomes too much to endure
And language becomes not possibly pure!

I found that I needed to work on my knees,
And ask for all help, if you please!
We all have to do number 2 don’t you see,
We’re not really healthy till we do more than pee.

One thinks it terrible just having to poo
But you know you’re not healthy unless you do!
So to this I say, when it all hits the fan,
Just find the smirk and make your own plan.

Understand that the crap we get in our day
Can become a source of play.
It creates an understanding heart,
Teaching us how to do our part,
And how to connect right from the start.

This all happened this last week but I can tell you now that I'm not afraid to tackle a toilet bowl mount anymore! It only took me three days what with phoning my brother after getting the run around from other male friends who told me I needed help, I needed to take the tank off the toilet, and other agrivating discouragements! Yeah for my brother who became my toilet coach! LOL.

Summertime

Greetings!

This finds us in the hectic summertime with lots of work to do mixed with lots of play to do! Mix this with a holiday, or some out of town visitors, and our time is full to overfull. This is certainly the way my summer is proceeding!

What I find most difficult is getting any housework done because of the heat of the summer along with the heat in the summer of my life (otherwise known as menopause!). Ohhhhh, sometimes I'm so hot, and sometimes I just wait till the cool of the morning at 5am to do the vacuming too. What I find most wonderful is connecting with family and friends as we travel or receive visitors ~ always a comforting happy time that re-energizes me and fortifies me for the days ahead.

I hope you're having some special summer events to enjoy and liven up your daily life! If not, maybe you can borrow someones family or visitors! Go off and enjoy the touristy places in your own community. You can learn lots and enjoy lots.

Laughter and Learn:

Here we are today, flying high because of a very successful teleclass this week on Laughter with Heart.

Children laugh 385 - 400 times a day for the sheer joy in the energy of just living! Adults laugh only 35 - 40 times a day. What happened to your joy? What happened to your energy for living! What happened to your humour index?

We can learn to laugh with intention and this simulated laughter brings about stimulated laughter and plays a big part in reintroducing laughter into our lives. A simple action step to take is to start laughing intentionally.

Say Ho-ho-ha-ha-ha, and repeat this two more times and clap your hands in time to the repetition of each syllable. Now shake your hands above your head and cheer yourself on. Yeahhhhh!!!

Next exercise: The Greeting.
As if you were greeting someone, you can laugh it out ~ hello- ho-ho-ho, hello- ho-ho-ho, hello-ho-ho-ho. Pretend you are arriving in Hawaii! Aloha-ha-ha-ha, Aloha-ha-ha-ha, Aloha-ha-ha-ha. Between each exercise or just for the fun of it at anytime, interject the Ho-ho-ha-ha-ha chant.

Doesn't this feel better to just get used to a little laughter again? Stretch those face muscles again and smile from ear to ear. Sttttrrrrrrretch those cheeks and create a smile from ear to ear! You can do it!!

Now, to help keep the goodness of some laughter in your life, just take a moment to write down a couple of occasions you are thankful for. Remember that someone who has helped make a difference in your perspective towards another? Remember the loving moment you shared with a friend? Remember the time when you felt close to God or nature? Remember with thankfulness, the time in your experience recently that you noticed something about yourself that you liked and admired? Appreciate all these things in the spirit of thankfulness and enjoy that feeling all over again. Ahhhhhhhh!

It serves you more to ink these thoughts than to just think these thoughts because the good feelings stay with you longer and it creates the best positive vibrations in our own experience. Good vibrations interpret as radiance! Right from the inner core of yourself! When you radiate that goodness, more of it comes to you. This is the Law of Attraction at work in your life.
